Central Region Schools & Colleges Track & Field Hall of Famer, Naseera Efua Quansah, has arrived in the United States to begin a new chapter in her career after securing a full athletics scholarship at the University of Kentucky.

The Tachyon Athletics Club sprinter and former Sammo Senior High School star is widely celebrated for her dominance on the track, holding regional records in the 100m, 200m, and 400m. Her brilliance was on full display in 2024, when she clinched triple gold at the CAA Region II U-18, U-20, and Senior championships.

At Kentucky, Quansah will combine academics with elite-level training as she pursues a B.Sc. in Dietetics. She joins the program under the guidance of legendary Head Coach Rolando “Lonnie” Greene, a Hall-of-Fame tactician who has shaped Olympians, NCAA champions, and over 150 All-Americans.

She will also train with Sprint Coach Marvin Gibson, an experienced strategist renowned for producing world-class athletes at powerhouse programs including LSU, Oklahoma, and Clemson.

Her journey marks another inspiring step for Ghanaian athletics, as she looks to make her mark on the NCAA stage and beyond.
