Bechem United Football Club Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Gyasi Atuahene, has stated that the club believes in the talent of new signing Aminu Mohammed.

He added that the club has high hopes for the former Black Starlets player to excel for the Hunters in the 2025-2026 Ghana Premier League campaign.

Atuahene made this known in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports following Mohammed’s move as a free agent to Bechem United. Mohammed was once scouted as a prodigious talent by Bayern Munich and Real Madrid before joining Manchester City for a reported fee of $1.5 million.

However, the move didn’t yield productive results for Aminu Mohammed as he failed to excel but the Bechem United sect believes this won’t be the case for the upcoming season.

“He is someone that we have a lot of hope in him, we believe in his talent, we believe in what he can do. We’ve made him aware that we are all together to support him to live up to expectations…that will help him get back to the limelight. We are eager to help him relaunch his career” Gyasi Atuahene said.

Aminu Mohammed excelled in the Ghana Premier League for West African Football Academy before moving to Europe after playing for Ghana’s Under 17 team with the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Gideon Mensah at the Under 17 World Cup in India.
