Arsenal Football Club’s injury list continues to grow just mere months into the 2025-2026 season as winger Noni Madueke has been confirmed as the player to pick up the latest significant injury.
Madueke was replaced in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City this past weekend and reports indicate that the England international has picked up a knee injury that could keep him out of action for to two months.
Madueke, who was recently signed from Chelsea, got into the Arsenal starting lineup after Bukayo Saka injured his hamstring. Saka returned to action as the replacement for Madueke after the latter’s exit from the game against Man City.
Madueke joins Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus on the injury list but reports indicate he didn’t suffer an ACL injury in his knee and is expected to miss up to two months of action.
Despite not scoring in six games in all competitions so far in the current campaign, Madueke has been praised for his fine performances.
Arsenal take on Port Vale in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, September 24 and Newcastle United in the league on Sunday, September 28.
