Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has announced that members of the Black Stars Management Committee won’t receive any winning bonus.

He made this clear while briefing the press at a conference held at the Sports Ministry to shed light on details in connection with the budget for Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, the Black Stars.

In his briefing, the Sports Minister, who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency, indicated that the budget for the team per game was set at a million dollars but the Ministry approved a combined amount of $1.3 million for two games.

He added that the sum of $10,000 in winning bonus budgeted to members of Black Stars Management Committee has been cancelled. Black Stars players will receive a winning bonus of $5000 for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
