Manchester United’s Director of Football Senne Lammens has spoken glowingly about Senne Lammens after the Belgian international signed with the Red Devils.
The deal was concluded on deadline day in the main transfer window on Monday, September 1 with the former Royal Antwerp goalkeeper being Manchester United’s fifth signing in the window.
Prior to signing the 23 year old for 18.2 million pounds on a four year deal, Man United wrapped up signing Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Diego Leone earlier in the transfer window.
Lammens, who stands at 6 foot 4 inches, is regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe and Wilcox is excited that Lammens chose to sign for Man United ahead of other suitors stating,
“Senne is an excellent young goalkeeper with great potential; we are delighted that he has chosen to join Manchester United after significant interest from a number of clubs.”

Lammens is expected to solve Man United’s chaotic situation in the goalkeeping position as Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana have failed to impress since last season.
