Black Stars: Our journey to the 2026 World Cup is within reach- Kofi Adams

Ahead of Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic (C.A.R.) and Comoros, Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, is optimistic about the qualification chances of the team.

The Black Stars take on C.A.R. on Wednesday, October 8 at 16:00 GMT in Morocco ahead of its clash against Comoros in Accra on Sunday, October 12 at 19:00 GMT.

Ghana leads Group I standings with 19 points and need at least a win from the two remaining games to seal qualification to next year’s World Cup that takes place in Mexico, Canada and the United States of America and Kofi Adams relayed his belief in Ghana sealing qualification via a statement.

“Our Black Stars have shown incredible determination and skill throughout this campaign. I am optimistic about their ability to secure qualification and bring glory to Ghana” he said and added that

“Our journey to the tournament is within reach. With faith, collective effort, and the relentless spirit of our Black Stars, I believe they will rise to the occasion and bring honour to Ghana.”
