Daniel Annor Walker, a former head coach of Accra Great Olympics Football Club, has passed on after a short illness; he was 64.
Walker served as head coach for multiple clubs in the Ghana Premier League and Access Bank Division One League including Nania Football Club which was the spot for his most famous achievement.
With Nania FC, Annor Walker won the 2011 MTN FA Cup when he led the Division one club to beat Ghana Premier League giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko 1-0.
His time with Nania FC run for six years as he served as an assistant coach before moving on to serve as the head coach of the club.
He served as head coach Ghana Premier League clubs Berekum Chelsea, FC Samartex and most synonymously with Accra Great Olympics.

With Olympics, Walker turned the Wonder Club into a solid team that got under the skin of city rivals Accra Hearts of Oak and made the derby a must see game.

The late Annor Walker was the head coach for Ghana’s Black Galaxies and led the team to the 2023 edition of the championship eligible to only players who compete in their respective national leagues.
