Nations FC head coach Stephen Frimpong Manso has picked up his first point in his first game as the lead tactician for the Abrankese-based club.

Frimpong Manso was appointed as head coach of Nations FC officially earlier this week after winning the Ghana Premier League title with Bibiani Gold Stars in the immediate past season before getting fired last month.

He supervised Nations FC’s goalless draw against Bechem United in Bechem in the Ghana Premier League on Friday, October 31.

Speaking after the game, Frimpong Manso said the match was tough and the point earned was an important one considering he had just three training sessions with his new team before the game.

“For me, I think it’s a very important point for us…the boys have done so well.”

“Now we are going back home against Hohoe [United]…we will have time to train, work out and try to correct the mistakes here so for me I think it’s a very good beginning” Frimpong Manso said.
