Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards will miss two to three weeks of action due to a hamstring injury which happened in the third game of the 2025-2026 season.

In a 114-110 win over the Indiana Pacers, Edwards exited the game in the first quarter due to the hamstring injury and the extent of the injury means the Timberwolves won’t be with their best player for the rest of this month.

After declining to comment on the issue, Minnesota head coach Chris Finch believes the team will definitely miss the sixth year guard.

“Of course we’re going to miss him, his ability to take over a game, put together runs, do all the special things that he can do. But we feel like we have a deep team, and this is when a deep team helps you.”

“We don’t need anyone to try to step into his shoes exclusively,” Finch said. “You’ve got to do it by committee and everybody pitching in and opening opportunities for others” Finch said according to ESPN.
