Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club have completed the signing of Morocco international winger Hakim Ziyech ahead of the club’s clash against Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club tonight in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The big matchup, which is the second leg of the club’s encounter with the Ghanaian side, kicks off tonight at 19:00 GMT in Morocco. Wydad lead 1-0 on aggregate after the first leg.

A win over Kotoko qualifies Wydad to the group stage of the continental tournament and veteran winger Ziyech is sure to be ready to compete at that stage.

However, the former Galatasaray, Ajax Amsterdam and Al-Duhail from the Qatari League player, hasn’t been included in the squad to play against the Porcupine Warriors.

The 32 year old Netherlands born Ziyech joined Wydad officially after completing a transfer on Thursday, October 23.
