AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola isn’t sure Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo would be available to play in the Cherries’ English Premier League game against West Ham.

Bournemouth take on West Ham on Saturday, November 22 at 15:00 GMT at the Vitality Stadium with serious doubts over Bournemouth’s best player’s availability this season.

Semenyo left Ghana’s camp ahead of the Black Stars international friendly game against South Korea that had Ghana lose 1-0; Semenyo featured in the Black Stars’ 2-0 loss to Japan in the prior game.

Speaking ahead of the game, Iraola indicated that Semenyo was dealing with an ankle injury prior to the international break,

“Antoine’s [injury] was not something new that happened when he was there.”

“He was already dealing with an ankle injury. I cannot tell you if he’s going to play tomorrow or not. We will have to see. We have a couple of situations with the ones who have arrived late, we have to see if they are comfortable to help us tomorrow” Iraola stated.

Semenyo has started the 2025-2026 season on a brilliant note by registering six goals and three assists in 11 league games.
