Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has talked about the mindset he has had as he enjoys a brilliant start to the 2025-2026 season.
The 25 year old Black Stars player who plays for AFC Bournemouth, has nine goal contributions in 11 games in all competitions- six goals and three assists.
His brilliant form has aided Bournemouth’s rise to fourth place in the English Premier League standings at the time of writing.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Semenyo revealed that he needs to get better at timing his runs to the back post to increase his goal count and talked about his mindset stating, (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“It’s just my mentality. I have to be resilient, I always have to work harder than the next person.”

“I think I’ve always had that so it gives me that extra grit, extra bite. My mindset is just kill, kill, kill.”

Semenyo is expected to play for Ghana’s Black Stars in friendly games against Japan and South Korea on November 14 and 18 respectively.
