Accra Hearts of Oak SC have strongly condemned the unfortunate scenes that occurred after their Ghana Premier League clash with Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

In a statement issued on Monday, November 10, 2025, the club expressed deep regret over the post-match incident, stressing that such conduct does not align with the values and traditions of the Phobia brand.

“Following the conclusion of that match, we acknowledge with deep regret the unfortunate scenes that unfolded after the final whistle. These moments do not reflect the values we uphold as a club — values rooted in discipline, respect, and the spirit of fair play,” the statement said.

Hearts of Oak extended an unreserved apology to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the match officials, supporters, and the wider football community, assuring that steps are being taken to ensure accountability and prevent future occurrences.

“As part of our internal response, we have initiated disciplinary processes concerning the player involved. These steps are being taken to ensure accountability, uphold our standards, and prevent future occurrences,” the club added.

Reaffirming their commitment to integrity and respect in the game, the club emphasised:

“Football is a game of passion, but it must always be governed by respect. We remain committed to upholding the dignity of our badge and the trust of our supporters.”

Hearts also expressed gratitude to their loyal fans for their unwavering support, urging them to continue standing by the club as management works to restore confidence and maintain the highest standards of conduct.
