The list of semifinals fixtures has been confirmed for the 2025-2026 Carabao Cup as an all English Premier League set of games are set to be played out next year.

Manchester City have been drawn against defending champions Newcastle United while Arsenal take on Crystal Palace on Tuesday, December 23 with the winner taking on Chelsea.

The first leg of both semifinal games are scheduled to be played during January 12, 2026. The return legs will be played during February 2, 2026; Man City will host the second leg of its tie against Newcastle at the Etihad Stadium with the first leg taking place at St. James’ Park.

Manchester City beat Brentford 2-0 earlier on Wednesday, December 17 with goals coming from Rayan Chreki’s stunning strike and Savinho’s second half finish.

For Newcastle, it was a dream debut for DR Congo forward Yoane Wissa who started as a Newcastle player for the first time since joining the club from Brentford this past offseason.

After being sidelined for several months with a knee injury, Wissa made his debut as a starter and delivered an immediate impact by scoring in the 11th minute.

Midfielder Lewis Miley scored the winning goal in the 94th minute to give Newcastle a 2-1 win over Fulham and book the Magpies’ place in the semifinals with an eye to repeat as Carabao Cup Champions.
