Kumasi Asante Kotoko assistant head coach Prince Owusu says he isn’t disappointed with his team’s draw against Medeama Sporting Club.

Kotoko drew 2-2 with Medeama after going down 2-0 in the first half; Peter Amidu Acquah and Samba “O’Neil” Gilbani scored for Kotoko with O’Neil scoring in the 92nd minute.

The draw means that Kotoko have just a win in six league games in a run that includes a 2-1 loss to lowly ranked Basake Holy Stars.

For Medeama head coach Ibrahim Tanko, losing a two-goal lead was very painful but Prince Owusu believes his boys showed a lot of fight to get the draw and he is okay with it. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“I can’t say I am disappointed. These boys have done a very very good job. A lot of people thought we have lost the game but it didn’t happen that way.”

“The boys did very well to come back and score those two goals to get us a point. I am not disappointed in that one at all because if we went out of here with zero points, that would have been a big problem for us” Prince Owusu said in a post-game presser.”

Kotoko rank fifth with and trail leaders Aduana Stars (23 points) by two points.
