AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola says he doesn’t want to lose Antoine Semenyo as transfer reports linking the Ghanaian forward to multiple top clubs continue to swirl.

In a press conference, Iraola addressed the situation of the Black Stars player who has been one of the best performers in the English Premier League this season.

In 16 league games, Semenyo has eight goals and three assists (11 goal contributions) and has attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City.

According to football insider David Ornstein, Chelsea have made initial contact expressing their interest with reports also saying that Semenyo has turned down the opportunity to play for Tottenham Hotspurs but Iraola doesn’t want to lose Semenyo.

“Semenyo right now is with us. He trained today with us. I know that there is lots of noise around him. Not my concern, my concern is it doesn’t affect his performances. It is not doing, he is very committed to the team and I hope we can keep him here.”

“Situation we cannot control, but Antoine right now is our player. Going to continue playing for us. If you ask me, I don’t want to lose him, definitely don’t” Iraola said to the club media.
