Manchester City FC manager Pep Guardiola has delivered a muted response to questions on the club potentially signing Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo.

25 year old Semenyo has a 65 million pound release clause in his contract that is valid for 10 days and the Black Stars player also had the likes of Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool FC interested in signing him.
Semenyo continued his fine form in the 2025-2026 season by scoring his ninth goal in 17 league games in Bournemouth’s 4-1 loss to Brentford. He has three assists to his tally.

Speaking to TNT Sports after Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest, Guardiola turned down the opportunity to address the Semenyo situation by stating, “Next Question” to a question regarding the Black Stars player.
