Despite continuing to post brilliant scoring numbers, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland needs to be more involved in games according to Man City manager Pep Guardiola.
Haaland found the net again in Manchester City’s impressive 2-1 win over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu with the win coming on the back of a shock loss to Bayer Leverkusen at the Etihad Stadium in the previous round.
The goal was Haaland’s sixth in six games in the UEFA Champions League; the Norwegian has scored 15 goals in 15 English Premier League games at the time of writing.
In the face of Haaland’s brilliant run, Pep Guardiola wants his team to find the former Borussia Dortmund striker for him to be more involved in games.
“His numbers speak for itself. We have to find him-Erling Haaland- more, he has to be involved in the game.”

“In the last couple of games he hasn’t been in the game so we have to find a way to find him more” Pep Guardiola said to TNT Sports.

Man City take on Crystal Palace in the EPL on Sunday, December 14.
