Brighton & Hove Albion were denied all three points at home after Georginio Rutter’s last-gasp equaliser forced a 1-1 draw against West Ham United in a tense Premier League clash.
West Ham looked set for a vital away victory when Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring in the 73rd minute with a smart sliding finish after a quick counter-attack.

The Hammers produced a disciplined defensive display for most of the game and frustrated Brighton, who struggled to create clear-cut chances despite dominating possession.
However, Brighton found a late breakthrough in stoppage time when Rutter smashed home his first goal of the season, firing into the far corner after sustained pressure and a rebound inside the box.

The draw lifts Brighton from 10th to 7th on the Premier League table, while West Ham remain in the relegation zone but move to within two points of safety.
