Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wasn’t happy that his team wasn’t awarded a penalty that would have boosted the Gunners’ chances of beating a very tough Nottingham Forest side at the City Ground.

Arsenal drew goalless with Forest and missed out on extending its lead atop the English Premier League to nine points. The Gunners lead the league with seven points.

Second ranked Manchester City lost 2-0 to city rivals Manchester United in a poor display at Old Trafford that had Pep Guardiola admit that Man United were the better team. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Reacting to the draw against Forest to the BBC, Mikel Arteta said his team could have done better to win the contest by stating,

“We created four big, big, big chances and a clear penalty, but we weren’t able to win the game. We could’ve been better.”

“We have to improve and be better, especially when we create four big chances, you have to put them away… But that’s the margins and we didn’t find a way to win it.”
