Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dorman says he is thrilled after his side opened the second round of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League with a convincing 3–0 win over Kpando Heart of Lions.

The victory came at the Tuba Astro Turf in Matchday 18, with goals from John Antwi (45+1’), Collins Boah (52’) and Adams Aminu (60’) sealing a dominant display.

Speaking to journalists after the game, Dorman praised his players’ resilience and credited the win to hard work and determination:

“Well, it’s a good feeling. It gives the team momentum as we start the second half of the season. The first half was a bit inconsistent, but today, the team showed real character. Heart of Lions are a strong side. They frustrated us early on, but we kept pressing, kept pushing, and at the last kick of the first half, we scored from a brilliant set-piece.”

Dorman also singled out veteran striker John Antwi for his leadership on and off the pitch:

“He’s more than a player; he’s a leader. A second coach on the field. He drives the young players, encourages them when it’s tough, and brings experience and positivity. We’re grateful for his relentless sacrifice and guidance.

Looking ahead, Dorman says Dreams FC will focus on replicating last season’s strong second-half form:

Last season, we had one of the best second-half performances. It looks like history is repeating itself. But every game is different, and we take them as they come. The next game will demand a different approach, and we are ready for that challenge.
