Manchester City striker Erling Haaland says he hasn’t scored enough goals in the lead up to the club’s English Premier League game against Fulham on Wednesday, February 11.

The Norwegian player said this according to Man City after scoring in a 2-1 win over Liverpool in the biggest game this past weekend.

Haaland scored from the penalty spot to give Liverpool the win despite having a second goal chopped off via VAR late in the game.

The goal against Liverpool improved Haaland’s goal tally for the 2025-2026 season to 28 goals in 36 games in all competitions. Despite this impressive haul, Haaland isn’t pleased with his output particularly since the start of the year.

“I haven’t scored enough goals since the start of this year, you can say, and I know that I need to improve. I have to keep going because this is what everyone deserves and expects.”

“I don’t want to speak about why I haven’t performed. I don’t think there’s any excuse. Fatigue is, a lot is, in the head. It’s a lot of games” Haaland said.
