James Osei Brown to Chair New Kotoko Board of Directors- Manhyia Palace

Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have a new board of directors in the wake of a slew of appointments Citi Sports can confirm.

The three man board is chaired by James Osei Brown with Kwasi Osei Ofori and Kofi Amoa-Abban serving as Vice Chairman and Board Member respectively.

A news release from the Manhyia Palace confirmed the appointment and stated that the board was introduced to Kotoko’s Interim Management Committee with the meeting chaired by Chief of Staff at the Manhyia Palace Kofi Badu.

“The incoming Chairman, Mr. Osei Brown assured the meeting of their determination to raise Asante Kotoko SC to the height it deserves and urged the management to double their efforts through the remaining weeks of the season” a section of the Manhyia Palace release stated.

Kotoko rank fourth in the Ghana Premier League standings ahead of the club’s game against Vision FC on Sunday, March 1 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
