Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club winger Peter Amidu Acquah is likely to miss the club’s big Ghana Premier League game against archrivals Accra Hearts of Oak.

The traditional rivals face off on Sunday, February 15 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi with Kotoko heading to the game ranked fifth with 35 points from 21 games.

Hearts rank just a spot above Kotoko in fourth place after amassing 36 points with Medeama leading the standings with 43 points.

Kotoko have won just a game in their last five outings and need of a spark but head into the crucial game with Acquah’s status unclear due to a reported injury. However, the extent of the injury is yet to be determined.

Amidu Acquah has impressed this season by providing seven assists with the tally leading the assist category in the Ghana League.
