Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has called on his team to get a fifth win in a row after beating Tottenham Hotspurs.

The Red Devils scored its fourth win on the bounce under interim head coach Michael Carrick after beating Spurs 2-0 at Old Trafford.

Bryan Mbeumo and Fernandes scored in the win in either half that keeps Man United in fourth place in the league standings with 44 points.

Speaking to the BBC after the win, Fernandes commended Carrick for the team’s turnaround by stating,

“We have been doing very well…to do everything that Michael [Carrick] and the staff have been asking of us and we have been very brave taking responsibility in some moments in the game to go and play and do whatever you need to do to win the game.”
