Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has called on his team to fix issues preventing the Gunners from playing to their best ability immediately.

He made this call after Arsenal blew a two goal lead to draw 2-2 with bottom ranked Wolverhampton Wanderers in a standalone English Premier League fixture played on Wednesday, February 18.

The result means that Arsenal have built a five point lead over second ranked Manchester City having played a game more than Man City who could cut the deficit to two points.

Saka scored the first of two Arsenal goals but saw his team give up the equalizer via a Riccardo Calafiori own goal in the 94th minute. Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Saka said,

“Very disappointed with the result and especially with the way we played in the second half. Far from the standards we’ve set this season.”

“It’s time for us to reflect on the last few performances and fix the issues immediately, so we can get back to winning games, go on a run and build momentum because we’ve lost that a bit right now.”
