Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembele has criticized his teammates for being selfish and not playing for the team but for themselves.
He delivered this strong criticism after PSG suffered a 3-1 loss to Stade Rennes in the French Ligue 1; Black Stars defender Alidu Seidu was on the bench for Stade Rennes but didn’t feature in the game.
Dembele, who is the reigning Ballon D’Or winner, scored the consolation goal for PSG who could slip to second place in the rankings should RC Lens beat Paris FC on Saturday, February 14.
After dominating last season and winning all titles but the FIFA Club World Cup, PSG have struggled to maintain the same level this season and have lost to the likes of Paris FC in the French Cup and Sporting Lisbon in the UEFA Champions League recently.
According to PSG Report, the French forward isn’t happy about this development and has called on his teammates to play for the badge.
“Last season, we put the club, the badge, Paris Saint-Germain first before thinking about ourselves. We need to find that again, especially in these kind of matches.”

“We got off to a very poor start in the match. We need to show more desire, above all we need to play for Paris Saint-Germain to be able to win matches”.

“If everyone plays for themselves on the pitch, it’s not going to work, we’re not going to win the titles we want” Dembele said.
