Newcastle United defender Lewis Hall says he is really looking forward to go up against Spanish sensation Lamine Yamal.

Newcastle take on FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 stage first leg tie at the St. James’ Park on Tuesday, March 10.

Hall has established himself as Newcastle’s starting left full back and is set to be lined up directly against the Barcelona winger who is enjoying a brilliant run of form.

The 18 year old recently scored a fine goal to give Barcelona a 1-0 win over Athletic Bilbao to maintain the Blaugrana’s four point lead atop the Spanish La Liga standings and Hall sees his matchup as an opportunity to go against one of the best players in the world.

“He’s obviously a special talent. I know what he’s about so…I’ll be really looking forward to it and for me I want to test myself against the best players in the world so no better opportunity to do so than the game so I’m really looking forward to it-going up against Lamine Yamal” Lewis Hall said at a presser.
