FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick was disappointed with his team’s performance but was quick to point out the implication of his team managing to scrape a draw against a tough Newcastle United team.
The Spanish side battled to draw 1-1 with Newcastle at the St. James Park after conceding an 86th minute goal from Harvey Barnes.

However, for Hansi Flick getting the equalizer was needed to cushion his team ahead of the return leg on Wednesday, March 18 at the Camp Nou in Spain.

“A very important result because we did not play so well with the ball. We defended well together, we can improve a lot and we will do it.”

“We gave everything in defending, at the end we deserved this goal. We came back. In Barcelona it is different and we can play much better” Flick said to TNT Sports.
