Chelsea FC head coach Liam Rosenior has spoken glowingly of forward Joao Pedro as the Brazilian continues his brilliant form since the hiring of Rosenior earlier this year.

Pedro recently scored a hat-trick to aid Chelsea beat Aston Villa 4-1 away from home in the English Premier League.

In the Premier League, Joao Pedro has 14 goals and eight assists in 29 games but is yet to play in the FA Cup at the time of writing.

However, he is in line to make his debut in the FA Cup when Chelsea take on Wrexham on Saturday, March 7 and ahead of the game, Rosenior talked about Chelsea’s in-form frontman.

“It isn’t about what I’ve done, it’s about what he has done.”

“He has been magnificent and I don’t just mean with the goals, it’s his intensity and the understanding of the press. Tactically, what he gives us is magnificent.”

“It was really pleasing to see the goals that we scored against Aston Villa, I know they were tap-ins but he was in the right place at the right time. It is really exciting for us to have a player at his level performing the way he is at the moment” Liam Rosenior said at a pre-game presser.
