South African coach Pitso Mosimane has spelt out the reason for his apparent disinterest in the head coaching role of Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, the Black Stars. (Scroll down to watch video)

He made this known in an interview on Radio 947 where he shared that there was no concrete approach from Ghana to give him the job.

Former Real Madrid head coach Carlos Queiroz was named as the Black Stars head coach to replace Otto Addo who was sacked after Ghana’s 2-1 loss to Germany in an international friendly.

“Maybe I don’t want three games, four games because for whatever reason and maybe Carlos [Queiroz] says why not let me go have fun, let me go to the World Cup again so it depends how you see it. It can be a little not too well for me to go for three, four games. What do you want to achieve?”

“Carlos Queiroz is a big coach guys let’s be honest and a very respectable coach may be he feels [that] I’ve got nothing to lose let me go…and maybe I look at it differently” Pitso Mosimane said.
