Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has promised that his team will be willing to dominate its tie against Atletico Madrid.
The Gunners take on Atletico in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinals on Wednesday, April 29 in Spain. Arteta’s side recorded a 1-0 aggregate win over Sporting Lisbon in the quarterfinals.
Arsenal are competing in the Champions League semifinals for the second year in a row for the first time in the club’s history.
Speaking ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta said his team will take advantage of the opportunity to reach the Champions League final.
“It’s a massive privilege to be here again, two years in a row at the same part of the Champions League, representing our club.”

“We have an opportunity, we’re going to grab it with both hands. You’re going to see a team that wants to be dominant, that wants to win it, and they want to start to decide the tie” Arteta said.
