Head coach of Brazil’s National Men’s Football Team, Carlo Ancelotti, has agreed to a contract extension with the Brazil Football Federation.

The new arrangement keeps the serial winner with the most successful country in FIFA World Cup history for four more years with the deal expected to expire in 2030.

The development comes just 30 days before Brazil play their opening game at the 2026 FIFA World Cup against Morocco on June 13.

Brazil will also take on Haiti and Scotland at the group stage aiming to make it to the semifinals for the first time since the 2014 World Cup.

In a statement following the announcement, Carlo Ancelotti stated that both parties wanted more from the relationship hence the contract extension.
