Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon is focusing on Nations FC’s impressive run in the MTN FA Cup and not the club’s form in the Ghana Premier League as the teams prepare to face off in this year’s FA Cup Final.
The 2025-2026 MTN FA Cup Final takes place at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday, May 31 between Dreams FC and Nations FC.
Despite having a fine campaign in the competition en route to the final, Nations FC’s couldn’t replicate the same type of form in the league as the Abrankese side got relegated from the top division after finishing 16th in the league standings.
The winner of the MTN FA Cup will represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup; Dreams made it to the semifinals of the continental championship after winning the 2022-2023 FA Cup title.
“We are concentrating on our preparations coming into the game.”
“Yes, Nations FC have been relegated but as far as the FA Cup competition is concerned, they have told an impressive story…so Dreams FC need to approach this game very cautiously” Dormon said.
