Alejandro Garnacho has stated that he is looking to get his confidence back in the wake of his move to Aston Villa.
The 22 year old Argentine pointed to this as the reason behind his decision to move from Chelsea FC to the reigning Europa League Champions.
The former Manchester United winger joined Chelsea last season but endured a frustrating time at the London club that ended in a 10th place finish in the 2025-2026 English Premier League standings.
Garnacho registered eight goals and four assists in 43 games in all competitions for Chelsea before joining Aston Villa on a season long loan deal where he stated,
“I was looking for a club to get confidence at and to try to be the player I was in my first years at Manchester United.”

“I spoke with the manager and I think he will give me the confidence to be here and to help the team. I’m really happy about that and hopefully we can do something important.”
