Manchester City midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi says he will give 100% effort to the club after completing his move to the reigning FA Cup Champions.
He said this in his first official interview after signing a five year deal worth 85.6 million pounds from French Ligue 1 side Lille.
The 18 year old French born Morocco international’s contract with Man City runs to 2031 and he is widely viewed as a key component as Man City look to rebuild their midfield following the exit of Bernardo Silva and Tijani Reijnders.
At the time of writing, midfielder Nico Gonzalez was on the verge of joining Newcastle United after the Magpies agreed a 52 million pound deal for the Spaniard.
Bouaddi joined Man City after starring in Morocco’s quarterfinal run at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and shared how he was excited to join his new club.
“We discussed a lot of things and the future also because this is why I’m here – for the future. What’s important is that I’m going to give 100%, be always here for the team and then it’s the future.”
“I think here the most important [thing] is to win. In a big club you need to win and this is all that we are going to do. We are going to give 100% to achieve all of our goals” Bouaddi said.
