A Bayern Munich board member says Jamal Musiala is doing okay after the German international collapsed during a pre-season game against RB Leipzig.
Musiala went down late in the match and was attended to by Bayern’s medical staff before later being seen walking down the tunnel on his own.
The game was played in warm conditions, with temperatures reaching 33 degrees Celsius as parts of Europe continue to experience a severe heatwave. Speaking on condition of anonymity, the Bayern board member said, “The main thing is that he’s OK.”
The hot conditions have been cited by some observers as a possible factor in Musiala’s collapse.
