Real Madrid have completed the signing of highly-rated Ghanaian centre-back Oscar Naasei from Spanish side Granada in a deal reportedly worth around €2 million.
The 21-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract with the Spanish giants and is expected to continue his development with Real Madrid Castilla.
Naasei began his football journey in Ghana with Emmanuel City Football Academy before moving to Spain in 2023 to join Granada. He progressed through the club’s youth ranks and eventually made his senior debut for Recreativo Granada before establishing himself within Granada’s first-team setup.
His impressive development in Spain earned him recognition at international level, with the defender receiving a call-up to the Ghana Black Stars and making his senior debut in 2026.
Known for his strength, composure and versatility in defence, Naasei can operate as a centre-back and right-back.
His move to Real Madrid represents a major step in his career and provides him with an opportunity to develop within one of the world’s biggest football clubs.
