Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has described teammate Antoine Semenyo as the perfect English Premier League player. (Scroll down to watch video)
Haaland made the remarks about the Black Stars forward in a documentary posted on his YouTube channel.
Semenyo joined Manchester City from AFC Bournemouth in the January transfer window of the 2025/26 season and quickly developed a strong partnership with Haaland.
The duo played a key role in helping City win the Carabao Cup and FA Cup last season, with their understanding in attack proving crucial.
“This guy Antoine; tough guy. He’s the perfect Premier League player, physical; just the whole total package bit like me” Haaland said.
Semenyo and Haaland were named in the EPL Team of the Year after scoring 17 goals and 27 goals respectively in the league.
Haaland won the EPL Golden Boot Award and like Semenyo, was nominated for the Player of the Year Award.
