German striker Ilyas Ansah has officially joined English Premier League side Hull City from German Bundesliga side Union Berlin.
The 21 year old 6 foot 4 inch player joined The Tigers after spending the 2025-2026 season in Berlin where he scored five goals in 36 games in all competitions.
He joined Hull City on a four year deal worth 12.8 million pounds with 10.5 million in potential add-ons per reports.
Hull City gained promotion from the EFL Championship to compete in the EPL this season and have won two games in as many appearances to open their campaign.
Speaking after officially joining Hull City, Ansah, who is of Ghanaian descent and has represented Germany at the Under 21 level said,
“I’m very excited. It’s a dream come true for me to play in the Premier League, and for such a big club – it’s really an honour for me.

“I have heard a lot about the club, the players and the team, and I’m excited to play with the boys and to get to know them. I’m definitely a player who always gives his best and leaves it all on the pitch.”
