Charles Bulu has been appointed referee for one of Matchday 3’s headline fixtures, as Accra Hearts of Oak host Bechem United at the University of Ghana Stadium on Saturday, September 19.
Bulu will be assisted by Seth Abletor and Richard Nartey, with Gideon Nii-Cofie serving as fourth official and Dr Perigrine Pearce-Pearson as match commissioner.
The fixture is one of nine games scheduled for the weekend, with defending champions Medeama SC beginning their title defence away to Vision FC in Tema. Dr Imoro Osman will referee that encounter.
Elsewhere, second-placed FC Samartex 1996 travel to Samreboi to face Asante Kotoko, while Port City will host Berekum Chelsea at Kukurantumi.
Eight matches will be played on Saturday, with Basake Holy Stars hosting FC AshantiGold on Sunday to complete the round.
