Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been named as the England Men’s Player of the Year for the 2025-2026 season.
Bellingham beat out the likes of Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane to win the award that is voted for by fans.
Despite missing some time in the immediate past campaign due to injury, Bellingham returned to action to excel at the 2026 FIFA World Cup with England.
Bellingham played eight games at this year’s World Cup and registered seven goals and an assist as he powered England to win bronze.
Finishing third was England’s best performance in the history of the World Cup since winning the tournament in 1966.
“It feels great. Obviously, a huge honour to be recognised by the fans again.”
“It’s not something you think about when you play for your country, but it’s obviously a beautiful little addition to the great summer we had” Bellingham said.
Bellingham has three goals and two assists for Real Madrid in seven games in the 2026-2027 season.
