Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola has praised Bradley Barcola after the winger scored his first career hat-trick in a 6-3 UEFA Champions League victory over Austrian side LASK on Wednesday, October 14.
Barcola, who joined Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer for £123 million, scored twice in the first half before completing his hat-trick in the 66th minute.
Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz also impressed, combining to provide three assists as Liverpool secured a commanding win in the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase.
Speaking after the match, Iraola praised Barcola’s performance and the team’s overall display.
“I think he-Barcola- played so well today and not just the goals. He had more chances to score, he was always a threat attacking the spaces in behind.”

“In training sometimes you feel when a player is in the zone, and fortunately tonight for us he has shown the level that he has.”
