Speaking to Channel One TV at the NPP National Delegates conference in Kumasi, Alhaji Grusah joined growing calls for the football administrator to step down following Ghana’s recent struggles.
His call comes after the Black Stars failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and endured a poor start to the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.
Ghana have lost their opening two Group C matches, suffering a 2-0 defeat to Côte d’Ivoire before losing 4-2 at home to The Gambia, leaving the Black Stars without a point.
Carlos Queiroz resigned as Black Stars head coach over the poor results, and following a meeting between the GFA and the Sports and Recreation Ministry, a five member committee was set up to find a new head Black Stars head coach. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“Zero [on the Black Stars performance level against Gambia]. The GFA President should resign…he’s a liar. He should resign” Grusah said.
