Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson has won the 2026 WNBA Most Valuable Player award, claiming the honour for the fifth time in her career.
Wilson beat Indiana Fever duo Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, as well as Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles, to secure the award.
The latest honour extends Wilson’s record of success, making it her third consecutive MVP award. Her achievements also include three WNBA Defensive Player of the Year awards and three WNBA championships.
Speaking after receiving the award, the two-time Olympic gold medallist expressed her happiness at reaching another milestone in her career.
“I’m not satisfied, but I am also so grateful, and I’m so blessed to be able to do what I do, and obviously getting rewarded is also fun…I never want to lose the fun of the game” Wilson said to Las Vegas Aces’ media channel.

Wilson averaged 26.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.9 blocks in the regular season.
