Medeama head coach Ibrahim Tanko is hopeful striker Kingsley Braye continues his fine goal scoring run by finding the back of the net in the club’s big clash this weekend.
The Mauve and Yellow take on FC Samartex on Sunday, October 18 at the Nsenkyire Arena in Samreboi with Samartex ranked third and Medeama ranked first in the league standings ahead of the game.
Defending league champions Medeama remain unbeaten six games into the 2026-2027 league standings and Braye’s goals have powered Medeama’s unbeaten campaign so far.
The 25 year old striker has four goals and two assists in five games placing him tied at the top of the goal scorers’ chart with Aduana FC forward Stephen Amankona and Ibrahim Tanko is hoping Braye maintains his form against Samartex.

“He is doing well. Four goals, two assists…we hope that he will continue like this but I think the rest are also doing very well and as a team I’m very happy” Tanko said to the club’s media.
