Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) head coach Luis Enrique was full of awe following his team’s enthralling game against FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.
Defending champions PSG registered a remarkable 4-2 win over the Spanish giants in Paris in a group phase encounter of Europe’s premier competition.
Despite being forced into making three substitutions due to injuries to Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kavaratskhelia and Marquinhos, the French side managed to hold off Barcelona’s threat to grab the win.
Losing to PSG, marked the first loss for Barcelona this season and the trip to Paris comes ahead of Sunday’s clash against Real Madrid in the El Clasico but for Luis Enrique, grabbing such a win marked another impressive feat for his club.

“I think we witnessed two teams playing incredible football, such attacking football. We showed our level. It was a very competitive match.”

“It was hard to keep control of the game. It’s only three more points, but it’s always positive to defeat such a quality side. The players that came off the bench were excellent and gave us a real boost. We are very happy” Enrique said.
