Harry Kane has signed a contract extension with Bayern Munich, keeping him at the club until June 2029.
The England captain, who recently won the 2026 Ballon d’Or, joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023 and has scored 156 goals and provided 40 assists in 161 appearances.

His best season came in 2025/26, when he scored 61 goals and registered seven assists in 51 appearances, helping Bayern win the Bundesliga, DFB Cup and Franz Beckenbauer Supercup.
Kane has also finished as the Bundesliga’s top scorer in each of his first three seasons at the club. He became the fastest player to reach 100 Bundesliga goals, achieving the milestone in just 98 appearances.
He has continued his impressive form this season, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists in 14 appearances across all competitions.

Speaking after signing the extension, Kane said he was happy at Bayern and eager to win more trophies.
“I love the club, the fans and the city of Munich. We have a fantastic team and, in Vincent Kompany, a fantastic manager. My whole family is very happy here. I was keen to stay. I’m now looking forward to the future and I want to win many more titles with this great club,” he said.
Bayern president Herbert Hainer welcomed the new deal, describing Kane’s time at the club as a special chapter in its history.
“What began as a major transfer has, over time, become a special chapter in FC Bayern’s history. Harry Kane lives up to every promise football has to offer, and he has secured his place in the hearts of the fans as one of the greatest figures in the sport of our time,” he said.
The extension ends speculation over a possible return to the Premier League, where Kane scored 213 goals for Tottenham, making him the competition’s second-highest all-time scorer behind Alan Shearer.
