Belgium have announced their final 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, with a Premier League star and four other players being cut from their provisional selection.

FIFA required all nations to confirm their squads for the tournament by Monday, 4 June, and former Everton manager Roberto Martinez has now made his final decision.

The Belgians will travel to Russia without goalkeeper Matz Sels, defenders Christian Kabasele, Laurent Ciman – who has been placed on standby – and Jordan Lukaku, and Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke, who were all cut from the provisional squad.

De Rode Duivels were drawn in Group G alongside England, Panama and Tunisia.

Belgium’s final 23-man squad for Russia 2018:

Goalkeepers: Koen Casteels, Thibaut Courtois, Simon Mignolet

Defenders: Dedryck Boyata, Toby Alderweireld, Thomas Vermaelen, Jan Vertonghen, Leander Dendoncker, Vincent Kompany, Thomas Meunier

Midfielders: Nacer Chadli, Thorgan Hazard, Eden Hazard, Marouane Fellaini, Adnan Januzaj, Mousa Dembele, Youri Tielemans, Axel Witsel, Kevin De Bruyne

Attackers: Yannick Carrasco, Romelu Lukaku, Dries Mertens, Michy Batshuayi
