WBO Super Bantamweight champion, Isaac Dogboe, has stepped up preparations for his bout with Japanese boxer, Hidenori Otake, on August 25 in Arizona.

The boxer has spent the last few weeks in training camp getting ready for his first title defence after he defeated Jesse Magdelano for the belt in April this year.

He put together a message for his fans ahead of the bout and went on to provide some info on how Ghanaians can follow the bout live from the United States.

“Hello Ghana, we are in the final phase of our training camp and we will be moving to Arizona to acclamatise and get ready for the bout. It is going down in Glendale at the Gila River Arena. It will be fireworks.

You can watch the bout on our RSTV app which you can download on the Google Play Store and Apple Store.  Thank you Ghana for your support and prayers.”

Dogboe is putting his title and his 19-bout unbeaten run on the line against the 37-year old Japanese boxer, Otake and he admitted at a press conference in Accra on August 7 that his opponent would test his abilities in the ring.

“Otake is going to come out strong. He is solid, compact fighter and he will be determined but come August 25, I will get into the ring to showcase my talent. He is a very dangerous fighter with a deadly right hand and we are nor taking him lightly.

But we will take it back to the basics because in my last fight, I made a few mistakes. We will correct those

It will be an exciting fight and Ghanaians should keep supporting me. They should pray for me as well. God makes all things and He has brought us to this opportunity.”
